This Tankard has been commissioned by the Royal Collection to celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla on 6 May 2023.
The design features the royal coat of arms supported by a garland of laurel leaves representing peace. Oak leaves, for strength, are joined by the national emblems of the four nations of the United Kingdom – thistle, rose, shamrock and daffodil within an entwined ribbon that represents the supportive partnership between The King and Queen.
The Coronation collection is crafted using English fine bone china and is made by hand in Staffordshire, England. Using traditional ceramic techniques unchanged for generations, every piece is delicately finished in 22 carat gold.
Presented in a bespoke gift box.
